GoodMap graduated this week from a year-long social enterprise incubation program at The Mission Center, L3C. As an inaugural incubate, GoodMap received mentoring, coaching, and technical assistance as it grew from its $30,000 award at the YouthBridge Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition (SEIC) to develop the GoodMap prototype.
The Mission Center, L3C, led by Chris Miller, has championed social entrepreneurship in St. Louis through such resources and support. Its role in providing back office accounting, HR, legal and evaluation services to nonprofits across St. Louis allowed the Mission Center to expertly guide such startup development.
GoodMap joined Big Heart Wines, The Disruption Department and Dancing Classrooms in a graduation ceremony on May 22, 2014. You can read more about this social enterprise incubator here.
